The Lion Heart’s resume includes winning the first WWE Undisputed Championship, being a tv show host, a film actor, a front man for his band Fozzy, a NY Times best selling author, a reality show star and a contender for Dancing with the Stars. Tough luck! I guess WWE Universe couldn’t keep up with the crane kick. But the one thing he never received is the honor of being called Web TV DeLuXe’s hero of the week. Jericho deserves this title without a doubt for reasons of being a top performer in the entertainment industry. In WWE, Y2J has the ability to manipulate the fans to hate him or love him. And let’s not forget his athleticism either. Despite what you thought of him — Jericho is in fact pure entertainment. Ronald McDonald is the hero of the week not just from his big macs, deep fried french fries, or toys that make kids happy… Lets also not forget delicious coffees or the attempt to satisfy people craving healthy salads and fruits in their system. We honor Ronald for hiring people this week nationwide. They made 50,000 jobs available for people who need it. It’s part of McDonald’s national hiring day. Welcome to the world of wonders where stars are made and people get awarded. This week, high honors goes out to Angelina Jolie. The actress has appealed for international support for people fleeing the conflict in Libya and for increased aid for those inside the country. The goodwill ambassador for the United Nations’ refugee agency UNHCR made a visit to the Libyan-Tunisian border despite of the heavy violence and protest that is happening. The Hackers star was surrounded by a pushy crowd of onlookers in Tunisia while visiting a refugee camp. Some people in the crowd got physical with each other while Ms. Tomb Raider was present. The Wanted lady was eventually escorted into a waiting vehicle and driven away from the scene without incident. Angelina also appealed for measures that would allow the UN and non-governmental organizations to access Libya and distribute urgent assistance, including food and medical supplies. According to the UN refugee agency, Jolie’s family Jolie-Pitt foundation had covered the costs for a flight of 177 people and bought an ambulance to help support Tunisian efforts to assist the wounded as well. “They’re waiting here with little hope, unable to return home and unsure of what’s to come. This constant cycle of displacement must finally come to an end,” Jolie said.

She defines glamour. Thrust into the spotlight as a child- she was a superstar by the time she was 12. If TMZ and tabloids ran wild in the 50s, they would have had a field day with Taylor. Taylor cheated death. She was married 8 times- to 7 husbands. She married her Cleopatra co-star Richard Burton, twice. She was involved in the Angelina-Brad- Jen drama of her day. She stole crooner Eddie Fisher away from America’s sweetheart at the time, Debbie Reynolds. Besides the drama- she was legit famous. She won 2 Oscars and was became the first Hollywood star to earn a $1 million salary for her most glamorous role as Cleopatra. Perhaps most importantly, she was a humanitarian. She spoke out about AIDS when most remained quiet. She continued to give to the cause and raise awareness. Instead of flowers, her family is asking for donations to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.

And the hero of the week goes to….. The All American American plastic figure Ken. Mattel’s 12-inch heart throb turns 50 this week. Ken Debut in 1961 with straight arms, a head that could only turn left and right, and felt hair. However, in 1977 Ken went to the gym and became a superstar featuring a more muscular build, a dimpled smile, a head that could swivel, bent arms, jewelry, and underwear attached. Over the years Ken’s been an athlete, a hippy, a war veteran, an alcoholic, freedom fighter, black op, a shoe salesman, an injury lawyer, a catholic school boy, a homo sexual sailor, a serial killer and a chess jock. He even endured a 2004 very public break up with Barbie. But a few months ago – Mattel played match maker and the happy couple is back together now. Ken’s appearance is in fact the poster boy to many little girl’s future hubby. From playing house with Barbie in your sister’s finger tips to getting destroyed into bits and pieces with fire crackers by a brother who plays GI Joe, Ken is in fact an iconic figure to the world. Way to go Ken!

But fame and fortune aren’t enough. The Oscar is the ultimate prize. The funny thing is, nobody even knows why that little gold knight standing on a film reel is called Oscar. There are all sorts rumors and legends including one that says Academy Award winner Bette Davis named it after her ex-hubby. Oscar lasted a whole lot longer than that marriage. The name Oscar has been used officially by the Academy since 1939. More than a name, Oscar is an aspiration to so many artists. He encourages creativity and most importantly, he’s gone home with some of the hottest women in Hollywood.

Web TV Deluxe’s hero of the week goes to the icon of Valentine’s Day. The cupid reigns supreme amongst other heroes for the week of romance. According to the Roman mythology Cupid is the god of erotic love and beauty. The cupid is always portrayed to be a little boy wearing a diaper while sporting bows and arrows. To Web TV Deluxe he’s nothing but a hallmark figure destined to inspire love to any creature’s existence in this blue planet. Either way you look at it, his arrows find the beauty of amore even when it makes a mistake by shooting your right hand. I think you know where we’re getting at…..

He’s a movie star, soap star, student, professor, painter,writer, host of the Academy Awards and Web TV Deluxe’s Hero of the Week. James Franco, we salute you. Whether he’s playing a psycho serial killer on a soap opera, or on the big screen portraying a gay lover, a stoner, a superhero, James Dean or a mountaineer who has to cut his own arm off, Franco has us believing. Like your mom, we here at WebTV Deluxe are also big believers in education and this guy can’t get enough. He dropped out of UCLA after freshman year to pursue acting, but has more than made up for it. He went back to school in 2006 and got his undergrad, got an MFA in writing from Columbia, while attending Brooklyn College for fiction writing, NYU for film making and dabbling in poetry at North Carolina’s Warren Wilson College. That wasn’t enough so he’s getting his Ph.D. in English at Yale. Now he’s about to share his knowledge with some select students at Columbia College of Hollywood. He’ll teach a class all about um, well, himself. It’s sure to be a hit with the female students at least. What he should teach a class on is time management because somehow he is also squeezing starring on Broadway opposite Nicole Kidman in ‘Sweet Bird of Youth’ into his schedule. And with all of this success and attention, Franco hasn’t turned into your typical Hollywood hard partying,cocky *sshole. And that’s why he is our Hero of the week.
