REALITY LOVE ON THIS SEASON OF THE BACHELOR

I must admit, I never saw myself watching The Bachelor, however this season has me mesmerized. Between the manic panic attacks, producer/contestant scandal, and an opening scene of the hunky Jake Pavelka showering, many of my primal desires are satisfied.

My media elitism almost had me miss out on a gem in reality TV. Can one find love on a dating show? I don’t know if I would fall so quickly (well Jake is TOTALLY DREAMY so maybe) but these women unanimously fell for the more the eligible bachelor within a three episodes span. That is like 120 minutes in real time. Each girl that has left thus far has been more dramatically pathetic than the previous, which makes for great entertainment.

Major Drama!!! The producer was fired this season for having a sexual relationship with a Carrie Prejean duplicate named Roslyn Papa. Seriously, her last name is Papa, I laughed too. She dumbly defends her “friendship” with the unnamed producer against multiple accusations from fellow contestants of a benefits addition to their friendship. One accusation that made me chuckle was by was by the southern belle, Ella:

“One night we were all fixing to go to bed, she was on the couch and we said ‘Roslyn are you gonna come up to bed and she said ‘No’ and was on all fours for who knows what reason, but she put her front part down with her butt up in the air and she said ‘If you see, you know, the “producer”, send him in because she needed to be put to bed.”

I think I have a good idea why she was on all fours. Psychos were prevalent, but there are a fair share of beautiful, successful women to show that reality TV show constants can actually be extremely classy ladies. Next week is the finale and I do believe love may be present and I love love, so I’ll be there. Plus maybe Jake will show some more skin!
