No More 24

So word on the street is that 24 is going to be cancelled. This season has been rough on 24 fans. The way I can describe it is like a long drug addiction and after 9 years you no longer get the pleasure from it but you can’t quit it.

Cliché doesn’t even begin to describe this season’s plot and subplots that are looser than Heidi Fleiss. I barely care about Jack Bauer, his daughter is still annoying and thank god largely absent, and Renee is in desperate need of some hair conditioner and a comb.

However, there is a 24 The Movie in the works. How the hell that fits into the “real time” concept of 24 I don’t know unless the movie is a day long. Regardless, I unfortunately don’t care too much about the movie or the cancellation. I doubt Keifer does either. After 8 long seasons he is probably ready to give his sore throat a break from his iconic dramatic whispers.
